Question

How do I change my password or have my password reset?

Answer

There are several options for changing or resetting your password. If you know your current or most recent password, you can change it by visiting https://okta.nd.edu.

  1. Log into okta.nd.edu
  2. Click your name in the upper right corner of the screen
  3. Click Settings
  4. Under Change Password, enter your current password, then create a new password and confirm it

    Note: New passwords must be at least 16 characters long. They do NOT need special characters, capital letters, or numbers, but you may include them if you wish.
  5. Click Change Password

Try using the forgotten password service.

If you are unable to use the Self Service option, call the Help Desk at 574-631-8111 during normal business hours and we can assist you directly.
