Question

How do I change which factor to use for two-step when I login?

Context

Answer

When prompted for two-step login the system will usually default to the last option that you used from that device or browser.  To choose a different authentication factor follow these steps:

  1. When prompted for two factor authentication, you'll be presented with a list of the options you currently have enrolled.

  2. Click Select for the option you wish to use

NOTE: Your list may vary depending on what options you have previously enrolled. To enroll different factors follow the instructions in KB0017560.

  3. After selecting the desired factor follow the instructions  that appear to authenticate using that option.
