Any faculty, staff, or student can join or host a Zoom meeting. You must have the Zoom application installed on your computer or mobile device before joining. Download Zoom from the Zoom website.

Join from a Zoom URL
If you receive an email or calendar invite with a link that starts with https://notredame.zoom.us/j/, click the link to join the meeting.
Security Precaution: If the Zoom link does not start with https://notredame.zoom.us and you think the meeting is hosted by someone at Notre Dame, confirm the link with the meeting host before you join.

Click the Zoom link in the email or calendar invite.

If Zoom is not installed, you are prompted to download it before you join. You can also download it now.
Join from the Zoom app

Open the Zoom application on your device.

Click Join.

Enter the Meeting ID. If someone sends you a Zoom URL such as
https://notredame.zoom.us/j/1789471xx, the Meeting ID is the number at the end of the URL. In this example,1789471xxis the Meeting ID.
Join from Google Calendar
Zoom has a Google Calendar integration that helps with scheduling and joining Zoom meetings. For more information on the Google Calendar add-on, see Google Calendar add-on - Zoom Help.

Sign in to Google Calendar with your Notre Dame NetID.

Double-click the scheduled meeting in the calendar.

The meeting panel opens. Click Join Zoom Meeting.

Your Zoom client opens and you join the meeting. You may need to authenticate with your Notre Dame NetID and password to claim host.

Go to join.zoom.us.
