Before You Begin

Signing in to Zoom with your Notre Dame NetID and password is the most secure way to access any meeting you host or join with Notre Dame participants. This sign-in method helps you:

If you want to create a Zoom meeting that is restricted to Notre Dame participants, see this guide.

If you are already signed in to Okta, you may not need to enter your credentials again when you sign in to Zoom.

Sign In to Zoom with Notre Dame NetID and Password (Browser)

Use these steps to sign in through a web browser and start a meeting you host:

  1. Open a browser and go to zoom.nd.edu.
  2. Select Log In.
  3. Enter your Notre Dame NetID and password.
    • If you are already signed in to Okta, you may skip this step.
  4. Select Meetings in the menu on the left side of the screen. It may already be selected.
  5. Find the meeting you want to host, then select Start.

Sign In to Zoom with Notre Dame NetID and Password (Desktop)

Use these steps in the Zoom desktop app on a Windows or Mac computer:

  1. Open the Zoom app. If you are not sure where it is, search for Zoom.

  3. In Company domain, enter notredame.

  5. You are redirected to Okta. Enter your Notre Dame NetID and password, then select Sign In.

  6. Select Open Zoom Meetings.

  7. To confirm that you are signed in, select your profile icon in the top right corner of the Zoom window.

Sign In to Zoom with Notre Dame NetID and Password (Mobile App)

Use these steps in the Zoom mobile app on an iOS or Android device:

  1. Open the Zoom app.
  2. Tap Sign In.
  3. Tap SSO.
  4. In the companydomain field, enter notredame.
  5. You are redirected to Okta. Enter your Notre Dame NetID and password, then tap Sign In.
  6. To confirm that you are signed in, tap Settings in the bottom right corner.
  7. You should see your @nd.edu email address. This confirms that you signed in with your Notre Dame account.
