Question: How do I connect to the eduroam wifi network using a Windows computer?
Answer:
- On your Windows computer, visit eduroam.nd.edu with your preferred browser.
- The page should identify your operating system. Click JoinNow
- The page will download a file to your computer. The appearance of this will vary depending on your browser and settings. Open the file: WiFi_University_of_Notre_Dame_Wrapper.exe
- Follow the app instructions: enter your netid@nd.edu, and your password, then click Next. Including "@nd.edu" helps you connect to eduroam when your location changes.
- As the app is running, you should see a progress bar across the bottom
- It's possible that you will see one or more security warnings about trusting the certificate. Click Yes to continue
- If you see the following screen you should click Continue, then restart your computer after the app is Done
- When you see the message as shown below the process is complete. Click Done
- Once again: if you are not connected to eduroam, restart your computer
