If your device and coverage plan allows it and is setup, you can use your WiFi HotSpot on your iOS or Android device for connecting to the network.

Note: When you use your mobile device as a hotspot this will use your Data Plan and could incur additional charges from your cell phone provider.

Here’s how you configure a Hotspot connection on iOS:

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Select Personal HotSpot
  3. For Allow Others to Join, slide the button to on (green) which activates the hotspot
  4. Enter a preferred password in the Wi-Fi Password field

  5. You will use the password listed on this screen for the password you enter in the Wireless Network selection area on your device needing an internet connection

Here’s how you configure a Hotspot connection on Android:

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Select the Connections
  3. Select Mobile Hotspot &Tethering
  4. Tap on Mobile Hotspot
  5. The name and password of the Mobile Hotspot network appear on this screen; to change either, simply tap/open the setting you wish to change, edit it, then tap Save

  6. Use the Mobile Hotspot name and password to connect other devices to your Mobile Hotspot.
