Undergraduate residence hall rooms don't automatically come with local telephone service, but you can request it. The cost of an in-room phone is $176.00 per semester. Should you require an in-room residence hall phone, please contact the Service Desk at or email us at oithelp@nd.edu.

You can also opt-in to telephone service on your Room and Board (R&B) enrollment declaration and the service will be installed during the first month of the school year.

• You can request this service during the first 4 weeks of the fall semester and the first 2 weeks of the spring semester.
• You pay per semester.
• You are responsible for providing a telephone set.
  
  • The telephone can NOT be a 2.4 GHz cordless phone.
• Long distance service is not included. If you need long distance, you will need to purchase service through a third party.
