Any faculty, staff, or student with an @nd.edu account has access to a Zoom account at no cost. You should set up your Zoom account before you download and use the software.
- Navigate to http://zoom.nd.edu.
- Click the blue Login button.
- You may need to supply your Notre Dame NetID and password.
- Make and save these changes to your Profile found on the left navigation:
- Upload a profile picture (optional, but recommended) by clicking Change under the anonymous user picture. If your webcam is turned off, your profile picture will be displayed to participants instead of video.
- If desired, change your Personal Meeting ID number to something memorable (e.g. your campus phone number).
- Select the appropriate Time Zone by clicking "Edit" to the right, using the menu, and saving the change. For Notre Dame, the correct timezone is "(GMT-4:00) Eastern Time (US and Canada)".
Note: the "(GMT-4:00) Indiana (East)" is not correct and this will affect your scheduled meetings. - Enter your Default Call in Country.
