Any faculty, staff, or student with an @nd.edu account has access to a Zoom account at no cost. You should set up your Zoom account before you download and use the software.

  1. Navigate to http://zoom.nd.edu.


  2. Click the blue Login button.


  3. You may need to supply your Notre Dame NetID and password.
  4. Make and save these changes to your Profile found on the left navigation:

    1. Upload a profile picture (optional, but recommended) by clicking Change under the anonymous user picture. If your webcam is turned off, your profile picture will be displayed to participants instead of video.

    2. If desired, change your Personal Meeting ID number to something memorable (e.g. your campus phone number).

    3. Select the appropriate Time Zone by clicking "Edit" to the right, using the menu, and saving the change. For Notre Dame, the correct timezone is "(GMT-4:00) Eastern Time (US and Canada)".

      Note: the "(GMT-4:00) Indiana (East)" is not correct and this will affect your scheduled meetings.

    4. Enter your Default Call in Country.
