How to transfer a call

Resolution

7945 Series

On Campus Call Transfer (Internal Extension Transfer)
  1. With a call in progress, press the Transfer softkey
  2. Dial the extension that the call is being transfered to
  3. When you hear ringing on the destination line:
    1. Press the Transfer softkey to complete the call transfer
    2. When the party answers, announce the call, and then press Transfer to complete the transfer
Off Campus Call Transfer (External Number Transfer)
  1. With a call in progress, press the Transfersoftkey
  2. Dial 8 followed by the full telephone number (including area code, if long distance) (ex: 8-1-269-683-1234)
  3. When you hear ringing on the destination line:
    1. Press the Transfer softkey to complete the call transfer
    2. When the party answer, announce the call, and then press Transfer to complete the transfer
Return Caller When Busy or No Answer
  1. Press EndCall softkey
  2. Press Resume softkey
Transfer a Call Directly to Voicemail
  1. Press Transfer
  2. Dial *1-#### (asterisk, followed by the extension for the person)
  3. Press Transfer again

8800 Series

  1. From an active call, press Transfer .
  2. Enter the transfer recipient's phone number.
  3. Press Transfer again (before or after the party answers). The transfer completes.
Direct Transfer
  1. From an active call, press Transfer .
  2. Press Active calls to select the held call, and press Transfer again to finish the call transfer
