How to Update Zoom on Your Computer

Overview

Zoom releases frequent updates to add features, fix bugs, and address security issues. Some updates happen automatically, while others require you to manually check and install them.

For security and reliability, it’s recommended that you periodically check for updates, especially before an important meeting. If your computer is owned by Notre Dame, updates to Zoom are applied automatically but you are also free to update Zoom manually.

For additional information, see Zoom’s guide: Updating Zoom to the latest version

Before You Begin

Manually Check for Zoom Updates

1. Open the Zoom Application

2. Open the Profile Menu
