NetIDs provide the owner with access to a variety of university resources. When an individual leaves the university, they generally retain access for a period of time as described in the NetID policy (pdf link). Authorized faculty or staff can request that access to IT services be immediately revoked by completing the Suspend Access form online. This action only occurs during normal business hours unless other arrangements are made on advance.

Note: Those who retire from the university may retain their NetID and email.  Contact Human Resources for further information.

This form is not accessible to students or affiliates.  If you do not have access to the form and need to request that a NetID be suspended, please call the OIT Help Desk (574-631-8111) to discuss the specifics of your request.
