Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, social distancing is being enforced within the physical computer labs. To broaden access, students may use the Architecture Virtual Computer Lab or remote desktop into DDS. Certain software (such as Adobe CC or SketchUp Pro) are not licensed for use in the Architecture Virtual Computer Lab. These are only available in the DDS or via remote desktop.

To access DDS remotely, you will need to use the VPN. For instructions on the VPN view this Article.

1. Go to this: List of remotely accessible DDS devices

2. Then under Remote, click Connect on the computer that you would like to use.

3. You will be asked to save or download ARCHLxxxx.rdp.

NOTE: if you are using a Mac to remote desktop into the DDS machine, you will need to have Microsoft Remote Desktop installed from the AppStore.
