Question

How to use My Print Center (print.nd.edu) to print to PrintND printers?

Answer

For the best and most consistent experience, we recommend that you use the PrintND Drivers. The process below is limited regarding the types of files you can print, and large or complex documents will not print correctly, especially during peak printing times.

You can access My Print Center at print.nd.edu and upload your print jobs directly to the site. They will then be available at any PrintND station across campus.

Note:  You must be connected to the campus network (wired or eduroam) or VPN to print.

  1. Login to print.nd.edu with your NetID and password
  2. Click Login
  3. You can put a check-mark in the Keep me logged in box and this will keep Print Center open until you logout. If you do not check it, it will automatically log you out after approximately 2-5 minutes
  4. To upload a document to print:
    1. Go to My Printing
    2. Click Job List
    3. Selected the document you choose to upload

Note: My Print Center only supports Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF, Images, text, and Visio file types

    4. The file will appear in the list and will appear when you login to a printer to release desired print files.
    5. To preview the job that was uploaded, click on the print preview button. (Print preview only works for files that were uploaded or emailed to My Print Center. Documents sent to the queue via the traditional print method will not show a preview.)
    6. To edit the print options of a file, choose your options in the bottom right corner. Print options can only be edited for files that were uploaded via My Print Center, or emailed to mprint@nd.edu.
