Clearing the cache of your web browser can fix basic web page issues, including if web pages are not loading correctly or displaying errors. When you clear your browser cache it:
- prevents you from using old forms
- protects your personal information
- helps web applications run better on your computer
- enhances system and application performance
Note: Cached credentials, including those for Two Step authentication, will be cleared when following the instructions below.
To clear cache, locate the browser you are using in the list below and follow the instructions.
Firefox
- Go to Firefox > History > Clear Recent History
- Make sure Cookies and Cache are selected and click Clear Now.
Google Chrome
- Click the three gray dots in the upper right hand corner of the window
- Click History
- Click History from the drop-down menu
- Click Clear browsing data from the left-hand menu
- For Time range select All time
- Make sure Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data are selected
- Click the CLEAR DATA button
- Close and re-launch Chrome
Google Chrome for iOS
- In the Chrome app On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app
- At the bottom right, tap the three gray dots
- Tap History and then Clear browsing data
- Make sure there’s a check-mark next to Cookies, site data and Cached images and files
- Tap Clear browsing data
Safari
- From the Safari menu, click Preferences.
- Click on Clear History
- Change the time to All History
- Click Clear History
Microsoft Edge
- Click the three gray dots in the upper right hand corner of the window
- Select History
- Select Clear history
- Make sure that Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files are all selected.
- Click Clear
Internet Explorer
- Click the Tools icon in the top right corner of the browser (Gear Icon)
- For older versions of IE, you may need to press (Alt + T) to open the tools menu
- Choose Internet Options
- Under Browsing History, click Delete
- Make sure Temporary Internet Files and website files and Cookies and website data are checked
- Click Delete
Mobile Devices
iPhone/iOS
- Tap Settings
- Tap Safari
- Tap Clear Cookies and Data
- Tap Clear
Android
