You are now ready to download and install the software.  Follow the instructions below to complete the process and begin using the software.

Note:  If you already have the current version of the software installed on your computer, you generally do not need to download and install it again.  Launch the desired application and login with your ND NetID and password to begin using it.

Step 2: Download Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop Application and Sign In with Your Notre Dame Account

Note: Installing this software may require Admin rights on your machine. If you do not have admin rights, please contact the Help Desk at 574-631-8111 or by chat at servicenow.nd.edu for assistance.

  1. Visit adobe.com
  2. Click Sign In in the upper right corner of the screen
  3. Enter "@nd.edu" in the email address field and click Continue.
    1. Note: Do NOT click "Continue with Google" - this will create a Google account rather than using your ND license
    2. Do NOT put in your netID@nd.edu email address as you normally would.

  4. Log in using your standard username and password. If needed, respond to the two step authentication prompt.

  5. Click   in the upper right corner to access a list of Web Apps & Services. Select Creative Cloud.
  6. A new tab will open with the URL creativecloud.adobe.com. In the upper right corner of the screen, you will see a box containing your name and Adobe plan information. Click Install Creative Cloud App.

  7. Run the file that downloaded to install the Creative Cloud app
  8. Click the Creative Cloud icon, located in the taskbar (Windows) or Apple menu bar (Mac OS), to open the Creative Cloud desktop app.
  9. Click the profile icon and choose Sign in. If the only option you have is Sign Out, choose to Sign Out, and then choose to Sign In again.
  10. At the sign in screen, enter "@nd.edu" in the email address field and click Continue
  11. You will now see the Notre Dame login screen.  Enter your NetID and password and click Sign in
  12. If you are prompted for two step login, respond to the prompt.
  13. You can now use the desired Adobe Creative Cloud application.

Step 3: Download any other Adobe apps via the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application

After you’ve successfully installed the software and logged in, you can download and install Adobe applications that are part of the Creative Cloud suite from within the Creative Cloud desktop application by using the All Apps menu and choosing Install next to any of those applications.
