Important: We recommend using Okta Verify, Google Authenticator, or biometrics for two-step login. SMS and voice calls are older methods and may not be available in the future.
How to Enroll Your New Phone
To enroll your new phone for Okta Verify, you'll need to use an authentication method you previously set up that hasn't changed (e.g., if you kept your phone number, you could use SMS or voice call if you had those enabled).
- Go to okta.nd.edu.
- If you're already logged in, skip to step 4.
- When prompted for two-step login, select an option that you previously enrolled in and that has not changed. For example, if you got a new phone but kept the same number, you could use SMS or Voice Call if those were set up.
- Once you've successfully logged in, click your name in the upper-right corner of the screen, then choose Settings.
- Click Edit Profile. You may be asked to log in again.
- Find the Security Methods section.
- To add or change a method, click Set up, Set up another, or Remove next to the desired option.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to enroll your new phone.
