Question: How do I connect to eduroam using a Macintosh computer?

Answer:

  1. Using your preferred browser visit eduroam.nd.edu
  2. Your operating system will be detected automatically, click on JoinNow
  3. The eduroam utility will be automatically downloaded
  4. When prompted, select Open

  5. Double-click on WIFI_JoinNow_Wrapper.app to launch the eduroam connection utility
  6. Click on Open when prompted to continue launching the application
  7. Type your netid@nd.edu, and password, then click Next

  8. Type your computer password (if not the same as your netid password) to begin the configuration of your Mac
  9. The utility will continue on to authentication and configuration
  10. As the utility runs, several certificates will be added to your Mac. You may be prompted up to FOUR TIMES depending on the current configuration of your Mac. Just keep entering your password, OR click Always allow to speed up this process
  11. When the utility finishes, you are now joined to eduroam
  12. Double check your wifi setting to make sure this finished successfully.
