How Much Printing Credit Do I Get?

Undergraduate Students
You receive $20 per academic year:

Graduate Students
You receive $35 per academic year, in two steps:

Faculty and Staff
You receive $10 per year, added in August just before the Fall semester starts.

What Happens When I’m New or My Status Changes?

When your NetID is first created, you’ll start with $10 in printing credit.

If you're an undergraduate student who becomes a graduate student over the summer, you’ll keep your undergraduate quota until Fall updates are finalized.

Special Quota for Mendoza and Law School Students

Students in the Mendoza College of Business and the Law School receive additional printing credit from their colleges.

This additional credit is only available on printers managed by Mendoza or the Law School.

Yes. If you run out of printing credit, you have the following options:

What Are the Printing Costs?

Print Type Cost per Page
Black & white, one-sided $0.02
Black & white, double-sided $0.02
Color, one-sided $0.12
Color, double-sided $0.12

When you log into a PrintND printer, your starting balance may show as $10. This is the system-wide default before any additional allocations are applied.

Does My Credit Roll Over?

No. Unused PrintND dollars do not roll over to the next academic year.
