Interested in using Panopto for recording or distributing video? During the initial roll-out, faculty or TA's will need to request access to Panopto. To do so, please send email to oithelp@nd.edu and request that you be given the ability to download and install the Panopto Recorder.  You will receive an email when this has been activated for you. Once you have access, you'll find the following information helpful to get started:

  1. Anyone at ND can use Panopto by logging in with their NetID and password. To begin, just go to panopto.nd.edu and sign in.
  2. Install the Panopto recording software - After you have been granted access and logged into Panopto, you can download and install the Panopto Recorder by clicking the Download Recorder button in the top right of the Panopto Site.
  3. Launch the Panopto software, log in using your NetID and password. Select a folder on the Panopto server where the video will be saved and give the recording a name.
  4. Select which sources you want to record and choose your recording quality.
  5. Click the red Start button to begin recording. Click Stop when you're done. Your session will automatically be uploaded to Panopto.
  6. Share your content. Link coming later
