Overview

Zoom passcodes are enabled by default for all new meetings.

Important:

The two most common ways to schedule meetings are:

Scheduling a Zoom Meeting through Google Calendar

If you have the Zoom Scheduler installed, new meetings will automatically include a passcode.

  1. Go to calendar.google.com

  2. Click Create.



  3. Enter your meeting details

  4. Click Make it a Zoom Meeting.



    Result

Note: If your passcode includes letters (A, B, C, etc.), Zoom will generate a numeric passcode for phone access.

Scheduling a Zoom Meeting through zoom.nd.edu

  1. Log in to zoom.nd.edu.

  2. Click Schedule a New Meeting.

  3. Review meeting settings:

    • A passcode is enabled by default
    • A random six-digit passcode is generated
    • You can change the passcode if needed
  4. Click Save.

  5. Click Copy Invitation.
