How do I connect to the eduroam wifi network using an Android device?

- On your Android device, visit eduroam.nd.edu with your preferred browser (e.g. Chrome)
- The eduroam page should detect your device and operating system automatically
- Near the bottom of the eduroam page, in step 1 select Google Play and click Download
- Your app store will open to the SecureW2 Join Now app. Click Install.
- After installing, please open back up the eduroam.nd.edu website. Near the bottom of the eduroam page, tap the JoinNow button. The JoinNow app installed earlier will open.
- At the login screen, enter your netid@nd.edu username and your password. Click Continue
- Eduroam setup warns that you will shortly receive a prompt to Allow suggested Wi-Fi networks. Click Next. When you receive the pop-up prompt, click Allow.
- You will receive a success message for configuration as shown below. If you are within range of eduroam, click "Go to Wi-Fi Settings" to find eduroam. Tap to connect.

Steps to solve the issue:
1. Navigate to eduroam.nd.edu
2. Download DigiCert Global Root G2 file & TLS RSA file cert. authority file
3. Navigate to Android Settings, Security, Encryption & Credentials, Install from Storage
4. Select CA Certificate
5. Accept terms
6. Browse for CA files that were just downloaded (downloads folder), repeat for 2nd file
7. Open the eduroam wifi phone settings
8. Ensure following was correct:
SSID: eduroam
SecurityType: WPA2
Encryption(not shown, but for relevance): AES
EAP Type: PEAP
Inner EAP Type: MSCHAPV2
CA Cert: Use system CA
Domain: nd.edu
9. Save and connect
