How to acquire Microsoft Office for personal use as a student.
Resolution
Notre Dame has licensed Microsoft Office for students, so you can download the latest version at no cost to you.
- Go to portal.office.com
- Type in your NetID@nd.edu in the username field, and press Enter on your keyboard
- Login with your NetID and password on the Notre Dame login page
- Click your name in the top right hand corner, and select View account
- Click manage installs
- Click install desktop applications
You will have access to this license until you graduate or leave Notre Dame.
You can also purchase a permanent license that you will retain after graduating by visiting this link.
